Trip Introduction

Damodar Kunda & Mustang Trekking Damodar kunda trekking is less frequented restricted trekking route in Annapurna Mustang region. Damodar kund� trekking offers imagine panoramic views whole Annapurna range ,beautiful landscape & monasteries. Damodar Kund (Lake) situated in base of the Damodar Himal and flows southward through a rain shadow valley on the eastern edge of the Annapurna Range. Damodar-Kund is situated at the lap of high Himalayas. Damodar kund has own history : In the article of Barah Puran Lord Krishna has said that who pays a visit to this Kunda and takes a deep-bath, they will be freed from all the sin. It is also mentioned in Puran that two sons of Kubers were suffering from their wrong doing & sin, which they did in their previous birth but lord Krishna suggested them to take bath in this Kunda and immediately after taking bath in this Kunda they were released from all their sin.

Outline Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Kathmandu, 1334m, Green Valley Nepal Treks & Research Hub airport representative transfer to hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, Green Valley Nepal Treks & Research Hub tour guide will take to you for Kathmandu valley sightseeing such as Pasupatinath, Boudhhanath, Kathmandu durbar square with guided tour and our representative will issue the special mustang Damodar kund trekking permit with original passport because of without original passport can�t issue the trekking permit. o/n at Kathmandu.

Day 3

Fly to Pokhara, overnight at Pokhara hotel.

Day 4

Fly to Jomsom and start trek to Kagbeni. o/n at Kagbeni

Day 5

Trek to Chele, overnight at tented camp

Day 6

Trek to Giling, overnight at tented camp

Day 7

Trek to Ghami, overnight at tented camp.

Day 8

Trek to Tsarang, overnight at tented camp

Day 9

Trek to Lo-manthag, overnight at tented camp

Day 10

Acclimatization and explore Lo-manthang

Day 11

Trek to Yara, overnight at tented camp.

Day 12

Trek to Bas Khola, overnight at tented camp

Trek to Damodar Kunda ( Lake )
