This two weeks trek in the Annapurna region is specially designed considering those individual who have got only few time in Nepal and very interested to explore this area by crossing Thorung La Pass (5416m.). In this way, this short but exclusive trek program is basically targeted to enjoy the Himalayan spirit through unique adventure as well as within short period of time.

The starting point of this ideal three weeks Classical Treks is Besishahar - a naturally rewarding area from where the trail heads to Bahundanda. This magnificent trek leads you to the fine village inhabited by a wide diversity of people from different ethnic groups, offering spectacular and majestic view of the white Himalayas. As it continues to the north of the main Himalayan range on to the high and dry Tibetan Plateau, the scenery is equally breathtaking. The trails then follows the way crossing the Marsyangdi River on a suspension bridge, leading to the fine stone village called "Jagat".

Muktinath - the most sacred Hindu temple stands as the most remarkable feature of this trek offering the astonishing view of the snow - capped mountains from the top. The eye appealing view of around surrounding is beyond one's thought to enable you to enjoy never ending blissful experience in peace and tranquility.

Detail Itinerary for Annapurna Round Classical Trekking

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu ( 1300 m): 
30  Minute drive (Airport to Hotel) we will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transport you to your Kathmandu hotel. After having formal introduction, you are being served with welcome drink at the hotel. They will give you helpful tips for your time in Kathmandu. O/N Hotel.

Day 2

Kathmandu to Beshisahar ( 760 m ) :
Early morning start to make the bus journey around 6 hours to Besisahar (850m), the starting point of the trek. Your adventure begins! Passing through many small villages on the way will fascinate you with snippets of every day living in these lowland villages. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 3

Beshisahar to Bahundanda (1310 m): 
Your first day's walk involves crossing a few suspension bridges, waterfalls, several up and down hill sections, across rice paddies and subtropical forest. The villages and people are an interesting mix. You eventually ascend to Bahundanda (Hills of Brahmans) for the night, a village set on a long ridge at 1310m . Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 4

 Bahundanda to Chamje ( 1410 m):
Trek through amphitheatre-shaped rice terraces, along a steep vertical cliff, lush forests, and some culturally intriguing villages. Spend the night at Chamje at 1430m. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 5

Chamje to Bagarchhap ( 2160 m) :
Today you enter the Manang district after passing fields of corn, barley and potatoes and then through forests of bamboo and Rhododendrons. Dharapani (1950m) is where you spend the night at 2160m, the first of many villages you will encounter with typical Tibetan architecture. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 6

Bagarchhap to Chame ( 2670 m) :
Today you will negotiate a few steep forested ridges, along with several landslides on route, remember to look up though, as you will receive some sensational views of major Himalayan peaks. Your target for the night is Chame at 2,630m. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 7

Chame to Pisang ( 3200 m) :
A narrow steep path through a very dense forest will bring you to the dramatic curved rock face, rising 1500m from the river. As the trail opens up you will be surround by Himalayan Peaks all the way to Upper Pisang, at 3700m. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 8

Pisang to Manang ( 3540 m) :
Enter the upper Manang region, where the rainfall is much lower. You will notice much contrast with the landscape and vegetation; the cold arid climate creates a much harsher environment. This area is a fascinating mix of barren cliffs and exotic rock formations in contrast to the snow covered Himalayan peaks. You have entered another world; Manang Village is set at 3500m. Day 9

Rest day in Manang. This is necessary for acclimatization. The village itself is fascinating; there are also some spectacular side trips not far away. The glacial lake below the icefall is mandatory. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 10

Manang to Latdar ( 4200 m) :
Start the 2000m ascents up to the Throng La Pass. Today is a short walk up to Yak Kharka, a small settlement set at 4090m. Gradual ascent is the key to avoiding altitude problems. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 11

Latdar to Throng Phedi or high Cam ( 4450/4925 m):
Make your way to the foot of the pass, Throng Phedi (4600). A small although busy settlement catering to the needs of a multitude of trekkers and climbers that use this point as a base camp. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 12

Throng Phedi or High Cam to Muktinath ( 3760 m):
Across Throng La pass 5,416m. An early start is important in order to cope with the long day over the pass. Challenging, however very rewarding. Crossing this infamous pass will take you into a world beyond reality. It is truly one of life's magical moments! Descend to Muktinath at 3800m. This is one of the famous pilgrimages place in Nepal. You'll see good combination between two different religions. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 13

Muknath to Kagbeni ( 2800 m) :
The country today is quite surreal as you trek along a plateau above the Kali Gandaki, the world's deepest gorge. Similar to Tibet the landscape is wild and barren, at times you will feel completely isolated, it is almost Erie, giving you an out of this world experience. Descend further to a more comfortable elevation and temperature; it is extraordinary how the landscape changes in days walk. Spend the night at Kagbeni . Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 14

Kagbeni to Marpha ( 2670 m ) :
he bank of the holy river spend the o/n Marpha (2670m). Enjoy with the view of Dhaulagiri Glacier, Nilgiri and Tibetan land, culture and renowned for an assortment of apple delicacies. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 15

Marpha to Ghasa ( 2010 m) :
5/6 hours hiking through by the Kali Gandaki valley and O/N Ghasa (2530m. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 16

Ghasa to Tatopani 1190 m) :
Emerge back into subtropical forests, lush with vegetation. Villages today are more frequent enjoy observing the everyday lives of the local village people. Pass through by the deepest gorge. Stay the night at Tatopani (1200m) and relax in the hot springs. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 17

Tatopani to Ghorepani ( 2850 m) :
A steep climbing and genteelly up to Ghorepani (2850m) today. You will stay here the night in order to make the climb up Poon Hill early in the morning. From this point you receive spectacular unobstructed views of the Himalayan. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 18

Ghorepani to Pokhara ( 820 m) :
After the walk up Poon Hill continue the trek down to Birethanti and a short walk to complete the trail, you will be received and transported to Pokhara, a peaceful lakeside city is a haven unique setting of tropical climate and plants with the dramatic backdrop of the Himalayas. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.

Day 19

Early morning by tourist bus to Kathmandu and transfer to your Hotel O/N -B.B.

Day 20

You could catch up on some last minute shopping, Internate to your friends and family before departure to Airport or onwards to your next destination.
